What is Kundalini?

In Sanskrit, Kundalini means “coiled snake”. The snake rises up from the base of the spine and coils 3 and a half times up to and through the crown chakra. Kundalini is said to bring enlightenment. 

What is enlightenment?

Enlightenment, in its simplest form, can be described as attaining knowledge or innerstanding. How we attain knowledge or innerstanding varies. For some it is through experiences while for others it is a movement of the conscious mind. It is important to innerstand that there is nothing good or bad in the universe. Things just are. We, as humans, tend to label experiences as good or bad, however, we tend to learn mostly from what we perceive as bad and innjoy what we perceive as good. In actuality we learn from both good and bad experiences.

When the Kundalini innerg is awakened, it pulls the energy that lies dormant at the base of the spine up to the crown of our heads. This creates an upward flow of innerg and balances the chakras and energetic bodies.

It is important to note that when one desires to raise their kundalini and reach a new state of enlightenment, there will be an innergetic, physical, emotional and mental change. This change inifests or manifests itself in different ways for different people. Therefore one has to be ready for the changes that may occur. 

“It is taught in the East that just as the snake-charmer must first become immune to the poison of the snakes, so the student must be prepared for the shock of arousing Kundalini.” (Mumford, J.)

What does raising one’s kundalini feel like?

For many, the experience of raising kundalini feels like a sexual orgasm, like a euphoric experience, like a psychedelic experience, as if they are floating or a feeling of deep internal peace. For some, they may experience something completely different or nothing at all. For some the effects are immediate while for others the experience begins to unfold slowly as time passes. 

For others, though comparatively few, the change in the innergetic body as well as the mental, emotional and physical bodies is drastic. They can have what they perceive to be negative effects.

Many begin to see, feel or experience mental signs, vocal signs and physical signs.. Mental signs can be visions that can be very positive and joyfull while they can also be frightfull. Dreams are included in mental signs and can vary from nightmares to lucid dreams. Vocal signs can come spontaneously and can inifest as singing and affirmations to animal sounds like chirping or growling. Physical signs may include randomly doing yoga poses that one was not taught to trembles and shakes..

Most are ready for the waves of bliss, periods of joy and transcendent experiences but not for the possible aches in chakra centers, random moments of irrational anxiety or sudden heat flashes. Though the latter does not occur to the majority, they both should be understood as healing and growing experiences. Eye am not here to scare you. My intent is to open your mind to the truth about awakening your Kundalini so that you may racognize the signs when they occur. Giving both of them the place they deserve and being greatfull for the experience and enlightenment, no matter how it inifests its self. 

It is important to know that you create what you conceive. Therefore, it is highly important to ramain positive but also realistic. If this process brings you fear, then ask your spiritual guides and ancestors to assist that you have an experience that is most beneficial to you but also not overpowering in either extreme. Too much of anything is not good. Too much water in the lungs will drown you while too much air in the lungs will make you sick. 

When the Kundalini has risen, shakti or female <receptive> innerg and shakta or male <projective> innerg combine and unite as one. The same occurs with the solar or logical and lunar or emotional aspects of our lives. They begin to unite as one. Therefore, all aspects of the God and Goddess within will become balanced as one. Both males and females have masculine and feminine innerg within and when they are in harmony, the being is balanced in their actions, emotions and thoughts. 

What is the purpose of raising one’s Kundalini?

There are many reasons why one would desire to raise or awaken the Kundalini innerg within. Achieving balance, strengthening one’s spiritual gifts, aligning one’s chakras, unleashing the god(dess) within, to continue one’s spiritual journey and heightening one’s Clair senses (Clairvoyance, Clairsentience, Clairaudience, Clairalience, Clairgustance and Claircognizance) are the reasons eye have seen most would like to awaken their kundalini. 

This process will allow and inspire you to become more connected to things of spiritual nature, to the cosmic and divine within, to healing self, to spiritual growth, to ascertaining more spiritual power, to becoming your own best guru, to moving forward in life, and to tapping into your divine power. A Kundalini awakening is something that most on their conscious spiritual journey strive for and look forward to. It is extremely powerfull for healers, shamans, intuitives and sages.

Reiki Level 2 Certification

Reiki level 2 is the next step to Reiki level 1. If you’re new to Reiki you might benefit from my “Is Reiki for Me?” and “What is Reiki Healing?” posts prior to reading this post.

After one has raceived the Reiki level 1 attunement and they believe they are ready to take their healing journey to the next level they can become a level 2 practitioner. What can a reiki level 2 practitioner do differently than a reiki level 1 practitioner?

Simply put, even though it is not this simple once one goes into the journey, they can send innerg to anyone via distance while a level 1 can only do in person sessions, they can do healings on specific bodies while the level 1 practitioner can only work on the physical body, the level 2 practitioner can infuse healing stones and other items, they use 3 esoteric reiki symbols that the level 1 practitioner does not use and they can channel more ki/chi/prana/life force.

Is Reiki For Me?

Greetings!

You might be asking yourself What is Reiki Healing? and is it for me?

Reiki healing is a spiritual healing method used to heal on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual realms. There is more information on what Reiki is on the link above, feel free to check that out before continuing.

Reiki innerg is within each and every one of us. Reiki innerg comes from the source, also known as God, TMH (the most high), Jah, Allah, Buddha, Dios, etc. When making the choice to become a Reiki practitioner one will receive an attunement. This is the process in which the “healer DNA”, so to speak, within one is awoken. With this new rearranged DNA one will be able to begin their healing journey while assisting others in their healing journey. This healing journey is most commonly known as “life” and it should be treated with love and compassion.

There are 3 levels to Reiki. In short, Level 1 allows healing on the physical realm, Level 2 allows healing on the physical, emotional and karmic realms. With level 2 one can also provide distant healing. This is when innerg can be sent to others ragardless of space and time. Reiki level 3 has two parts. and works on all realms from levels 1 and 2 as well as the soul level. The first part is when the practitioner receives the final symbols, one for attunement use only and the second part is when the practitioner begins to teach Reiki to others.

There are many ways to know that Reiki is for you. Many times we are drawn to it. We might not feel like we could do it yet we have this curiosity about it. For some of us we know we have it in us but are fearful of jumping into the realms of magik and alchemy. We are unsure where to start, if it will work and if we will be like those people who are obsessed with nature and the moon.

For some of us we just feel compelled to help others. We can sometimes be the one who helps others while no one helps us yet we still find it in our heart to love and help again. We can have our limits but we allow much more than we know we should because in our heart of hearts, we love to help. Helping others literally makes us happy.

For some of us we can identify with it because we are the strong friend. We are the ones that others can go to for a helping hand, a shoulder to cry and lean on, to keep secrets and provide an alternative view, we are the ones to be trusted.

For others it can be something completely different. For me, Queen Akuchi, it was a very unexpected thing. Eye was new to it all. Eye knew nothing about magik, alchemy, rituals or what my parents meant when we couldn’t go to the palos because “Juana se monta.” as kids.

All eye knew was that eye was tired. Tired of teaching and fulfilling the standards of society. Eye felt like there was something more to life. Eye was coming out of a depression and went to the christian/catholic church for nourishment of the soul. Eye did not find it there. Instead eye reveled in the canniboid use and heavy meditation.

Eye used to meditate but was unaware of how deep eye actually went as eye was normally in my thoughts. One day eye consciously astral projected and knew that it was “cool as fuck” but had no idea what eye was getting my self into. Less than 2 months later my uncle, a Reiki Master Teacher of 20 plus years, gave me Reiki level 1 and 2 attunements on the same day and 3 days after that eye moved from New York City to Louisiana.

All eye had was a book and a gift.

And all eye needed was the gift. The gift itself brings you to the paths that will make your mission on geb progress while you do the same. You need nothing else but the guidance you choose and your higher self. The part of you that only wants the best for you.

What is the 7th or crown chakra?

In this article we will explore the attributes of the crown or 7th chakra.  Please be sure to read the What are the Chakras and how do I align them? article to get familiar with what the chakras are in brevity.

The crown chakra is located at the top of the head, near the pineal and pituitary glands. This chakra connects us to the divine cosmic innergies of the universe. This means that it allows us to see the cosmic and divine with us, personally. It allows us to connect to the divine in others, as well, but begins with us.

The 7th chakra opens one up to the bigger picture on every level. It is a chakra of liberation, illumination, and unification instead of separation. It allows one to connect to ancient mythologies and encourages one to connect to cosmogonies that were previously dismissed. It is like unlocking all thoughts, wisdom, intellect, knowledge, communication, and inter-connectedness with all things. One breaks the veil of limitation. One begins to see and feel that there are no limits; to space, time, knowledge, innerg, innerstanding, etc.

Some ways to know that your crown chakra is balanced is by feeling connected to the universe; knowing that it is inside of you and that you are an active part of it. It is more of a feeling that translates into actions. When this chakra is balanced one finds peace in knowing and feeling their connection to the cosmic planes and ethers. One sees the bigger picture in everything and how it connects with their life, soul and spirit. One is at peace with their self and is quite selfless.

When this chakra is too open or spinning to fast; one is psychotic, manic depressive, experiences confused sexual expression, frustrated and has a sense of unrealized power.

Some ways to know that your 7th chakra is unbalanced is by not knowing what others mean when they say “a higher power” or feel innerg from the beyond. One does not feel connected to an innerg source that connects everything from within to without. One experiences feelings of depression, obsessional thinking and confusion. On the physical realm one can experience sensitivity to pollution, chronic exhaustion, epilepsy, and Alzheimer’s. The 7th chakra is associated with the upper skull, the cerebral cortex and skin.

When this chakra is unbalanced or closed and not spinning at the correct speed one has no interest in anything spiritual, one believes that only their religion is correct and that all others are false, when one believes that they have the truth in most or all situations and topics, when one does not have any moral standards, when one does not raspect others, and when one feels the need to constantly say what they feel.

Some other signs of imbalance are headaches, mental illness, neuralgia, senility, worry, skin rashes, hyper-intellectuality, and lack of faith or belief.

Some ways to balance the crown chakra are with meditation, aroma therapy, reiki, reflexology, astrology, healing stones, and food and clothing choices. With meditation one can use various techniques in assisting the cleansing of the 7th chakra. For example, binaural beats, nature sounds, guided meditations, and visualizations. Using lavender, lotus or jasmine essential oils can be helpful for crown chakra meditations and uses.

Reiki is probably one of my favorite methods and deals with innerg work on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual realms. It can also be paired with any of the others freely and with no limit of usage. Reflexology is the practice of using pressure points to ease pain the body; from the skin to the organs. Astrology can be a great way to balance one’s crown chakra because when one is aware and in tune with the different aspects of Self, one can fully accept & learn to love and heal every aspect of self.

Healing stones are probably my second favorite method and can be considered a type of innerg work as well. One can connect to their innerg and allow them to penetrate one’s aura and chakras in order to allow their innerg work to take place. Foods to incorporate in one’s diet when working on the crown chakra are violet colored foods like plums, beets and elderberries. Violet colored clothing and accessories, especially closer to the crown on ones body, can assist in one’s conscious act and participation in the evolution of one’s 7th chakra.

Connect to your inner God or Goddess through the intimate connection of the Divine. Leave behind limited thoughts and patterns in order to create a new reality for your self. The crown or 7th chakra is a chakra of deep connection to the universe and all of the beings in it.

After any chakra cleansing one can expect changes to occur from the mental, emotional and physical realms. This means changes in one’s actions, feelings and thoughts. The key is to go with the flow, follow the intuition and let the healing innerg take its course.

What is the 6th chakra, also known at the third eye?

This article goes into depth in exploring the attributes of the 6th chakra, please be sure to read the What are the Chakras and how do I align them? article to get familiar with what the chakras are in brevity.

The 6th or third eye chakra is located in the forehead and above, yet in between the physical eyes. This eye, also known as the first eye, is not a physical one. It is an innergetic location within the physical body. Its colors are purple and indigo.

The 6th chakra is connected to one’s intuition, their divine purpose, connection to the soul, imagination, divine self or higher self; this is the highest aspect of one’s self where we only want the best for ourselves, and it is also the gateway to dreams, the metaphysical or spiritual realm; called the duat in Kemet, the astral plane and the higher dimensions.

We are connected to other dimensions because they actually reside or live within each and every one of us. We have the ability to tap into these dimensions y using our third eye. Some of this ability we are born with and do not lose over time, and some of this can only be cultivated or worked on with meditation. Depending on where your natural abilities are; it depends on how fast you will ascend into higher dimensions. For many, it is much easier than we ever could have imagined.

Some ways to recognize when your 6th chakra is working nicely and balanced is to get hints, messages or visions. When you can feel when something is going to happen or when your dreams come true are other great indicators that your first eye is working properly.

This chakra also works with one’s connection to their divine purpose, soul and higher self. to be aligned with ones’s higher self is to know your soul and your divine purpose. this means that you know who and what you are, innerstand what your mission is here on Geb (ragardless of all the ways you execute or complete that mission), and everything you do is from your soul’s essence in attempts to heal, grow and accomplish your divine purpose. each of us has this divine purpose, this impulse to grow, the ability to heal and move forward. we just have to tap into it.

The last yet very complex aspect of the third eye is the connection to the entire universe. We are innately or are born with this connection to the universe. We thend to racognize it in children yet forget that we carry it as well as adults. Why is this so? Because after the age of 7 and for many others past the ages of 13 to 17 we tend to become conditioned by society. Society tells us that some things are untrue, invalid or evil. This is accomplished through religious, social, educational and visual indoctrination. This means that we attain or get this information through religion, social norms, educational institutions and visuals like media; movies, music videos, television programs and video games.

Everything in the universe that we think is outside of us; the clouds, the sky, the stars, etc are also within us. We can reach these places with our astral body through or by way of meditation. We can travel freely and endlessly to other places, planets, times, dimensions and ethers through meditation with a balanced third eye.

The only way to know how far you can go is to try, no matter how long or how little time it takes. Dedication is the key even if you fall asleep at first, as this is very normal as well. Many people who begin meditating fall asleep because the mind is not used to being quiet and still for extended periods of time. It is used for instant gratification and is usually kept busy with music, television, a tablet, computer or cell phone. The best way to plug into the universe is by unplugging from the things of the world, that is, of things that connect us to this dimension.

How can one tell if their 6th chakra is unbalanced or not spinning efficiently? Some of the common ones are not racalling dreams, feeling like god/the universe/your angels/your spirit guides/your counsel is not speaking to you, not knowing your godly abilities, not knowing what your soul’s purpose is, not knowing what your divine mission is, not being able to meditate, not receiving messages from the spiritual realm or your higher self.

Some others are learning disabilities, coordination problems, sleep disorders, delusional thinking, poor concentration, poor memory, inability to concentrate, psychic misinterpretations.

Some ways to get your first eye balanced are by activating it daily, by making the intent to racall dreams, by making the intent and being open to receiving messages, following and trusting your intuition, aceppting rasponsibility for your flaws, self accountability, conscious, active and dedicated efforts to change, thinking criticaly, stargazing, journal writing, walking in moonlight. Indigo colored foods and teas such as figs and black currant. Indigo gemstones such as azurite and sodalite. Wear indigo or deep blue colored clothing. Using patchouli or frankincense essential oils.

Healing stones are also known for helping with balancing and healing the 6th or third eye/ first eye chakra. Some of the most popular stones for this chakra are Amethyst, lapis lazuli, and selenite. Amethyst is known mostly for its protection, intuitive, dream and third eye ascendance assistance. Lapis lazuli is known for its intuitive, alignment and dimensional attributes. Selenite is known for its cleansing, protection and angelic guidance properties. There are many stones with many abilities. My suggestion? Let them choose you and then do your research on them. You will find that the ones that called you, are the exact ones you need.

A level 2 can send healing to you or your animal kingdom friend from anywhere in the world to anywhere in the universe. This in fact, is my specialty.
