Often I will read or hear that what I perceive is an illusion, but how can this be so? When I’m in pain it feels pretty real to me. I am sure that if I, or anyone else gets a blow to the face it will hurt, it will feel REAL. So either everything is real and nothing is an illusion or I haven’t understood what the word ‘illusion’ really means.
To understand the true nature of illusion, there are two points to be considered: first, that what is changeable is an illusion, and secondly, that which is unstable is also an illusion.
